The difference between religious thinkers and secular thinkers
(Belief: conviction of the truth of some statement. Something we regard as being true.)
- Religious thinkers "believe" the universe was created and is being controlled by a supernatural entity called god.
- Secular thinkers "believe" the universe was created and is being controlled by the laws of nature.
This is the fundamental difference between religious thinkers and secular thinkers.
Their are plenty of facts to “prove”¯ either position. But it is the fundamental assumptions we inherited through our birth culture that generally determines whether we “believe” in god, or “believe” in the laws of nature.
